A Philadelphia Classical Center TableStatus: Sold General Description: An Extremely Fine Classical Carved Mahogany Tilt-top Center Table, Pie-wedge Top, Attributed to Anthony Quervelle or another Philadelphia cabinetmaker of equal rank, Philadelphia, circa 1825. Details: Beautifully matched pie-wedge veneered top on a handsome tapering and boldly reeded pedestal supported by a shaped three-footed base terminating in finely carved leafage and lion paw feet. Diminutive in scale, extremely fine in proportion, with a rare graceful narrow convex apron, and superbly carved feet.
