General Description: A Rare Set of Four (Two Pairs) Classical Three-light Regency Patinated and Gilt Bronze Candle Sconces, England, circa 1820.
Details: Excellent contrasting gilt and patinated finish and beautiful Classical form. The gilded backplates are in the form of acanthus leafage and the arms have lotus detail. It is very unusual to find such a large matched set. They are not electrified. Dimensions: width of backplate: 2-3/8 inches; height of backplate: 6-5/8 inches; spread of sconce: 9-1/4 inches; depth of sconce: 9-1/4 inches; height of sconce: app. 8 inches.
