General Description: A Fine Fruit-decorated Twelve Piece Dessert Service, probably Coalport, circa 1840.
Details: Each Piece Marked on reverse "J.ALLSUP/16.ST.PAUL'S-CHURCH-YARD/LONDON." Pattern No. 2385. Hand-painted reserves of fruit in the centers of each plate with a burgundy and gilt-edged border, consisting of 10 dessert plates and two shaped low compotes.
