General Description: A Rare and Handsome Pair of Carved Classical Giltwood Pier Glasses, probably Baltimore, circa 1825.

Details: Original backboards and mirror plates. Nearly identical in form to a larger pair of Pier Glasses installed in the Drawing Room of "Hampton" Mansion in Towson, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore, as part of the original furnishings of the room by the Ridgely Family in the late 1820s.
